So January is almost over and I have vowed to write 5 chapters a month until my book, 'Merla', is done. I'm half way through chapter 4 right now. That means I'm going to have to write an entire chapter in one day. Tomorrow. Honestly my biggest issue with that is not at all that it's impossible I write fast and I already know what I'm doing because I plan extensively. Writing a novel is a crazy undertaking. You have to have at least a little bit of insanity and a lot of ego. I, for one, have both in abundance. Jokes aside, right now I'm three chapters into my first draft after starting on December 31st. Merla follows the story of a young woman navigating the growing threat of miasmic beasts while everyone else buries their head in the sand.
